Another Great Auction 6th November
This collection comprises seventeen diverse decorative items, predominantly ceramic or porcelain, dating from the 19th to early 20th century, consistent with period lusterware. The group includes various pitchers, creamers, lidded vessels, bowls, and small dishes. Many pieces feature lustrous metallic glazes in gold, copper, and iridescent amber tones, alongside items with solid colors such as cobalt blue. The top shelf also includes iridescent glass vessels. Decorative elements range from floral motifs and intricate relief work to striped patterns and pictorial scenes. Notably, two small scalloped dishes on the bottom shelf feature painted birds (resembling goldfinches) on cherry blossom branches. One small yellow creamer bears a partially legible black text marking, “on Sea.”
