Another Great Auction 6th November
This diverse collection comprises numerous vintage personal care and decorative items. Featured are two ornate metal goblets with blue glass inserts, one presented on a stand, likely silver-plated or pewter. A small wooden box contains a circular mirror, and a small, lidded metal container also holds a blue glass insert. A colorful enamel and gilt metal peacock figurine is present. The lot includes a group of various brushes: several natural bristle types with wooden backs, a dark-handled brush, and a three-piece vanity set with decorative silver-toned metal-backed brushes and a mirror. One brush displays a label “LEONARD & CO. LIMITED. ESTABLISHED 1840.” Also included are two cased sets of flatware, consisting of knives and forks with cream-colored handles and stainless steel blades/tines, marked “Sheffield Stainless Steel.” A separate velvet-lined case houses a set of four small, clear cut-crystal dishes in various shapes, including hearts, with lids.
