A carved marble chess set housed within a compartmentalized wooden storage box. The pieces are crafted from two distinct polished marbles: one set in a variegated reddish-pink and white, and the opposing set in a dark gray to black. While generally following traditional chess piece forms, they feature a simplified, somewhat stylized design. No visible text or markings are apparent.
