Another Great Auction 6th November
A pair of Royal Doulton ceramic figurines from ‘The Mickey Mouse Collection,’ depicting the Disney characters Goofy (MM 5) and Pluto (MM 6). Each piece features a full-color glazed finish, with Goofy depicted sitting cross-legged and Pluto sitting upright, both on oval white bases. The undersides bear extensive gold printed markings, including the Royal Doulton lion-over-crown mark with “MADE IN ENGLAND,” “Hand made and Hand decorated,” “Royal Doulton®,” “THE MICKEY MOUSE COLLECTION,” the character’s name and model number, and “© Disney.” A distinct circular mark celebrating “70” years, dated “1928” and “1998,” is present, alongside a small black top hat logo. An “INSPECTED BY H Auction” sticker is also visible on both.
