A vintage African style figural group sculpture crafted from a bronze-patinated resin or composite material. It depicts an elder male figure seated, holding a staff, and gesturing as if speaking, while two younger figures sit attentively at his feet, listening. All three figures are adorned with draped garments in blue and yellow/gold hues, and are rendered with textured hair and detailed facial features, evoking an ethnographic or traditional African aesthetic. The integrated base features naturalistic elements including a small pot and a sandal-like object. A yellow label with the alphanumeric code ‘B2137J’ is affixed to the back of one of the smaller figures.
