Another Great Auction 20th November
A carved figurine depicting a seated, laughing Buddha or Hotei figure, characterized by a corpulent belly, jovial facial expression, and draped robes. It is crafted from a natural material exhibiting prominent striations and banding in shades of creamy off-white, tan, and reddish-brown, suggestive of banded stone. The surface appears smooth with a slight sheen. A white sticker with blue text “BM1442” and some red markings is affixed to the underside/back.
