Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of Border Fine Arts figural sculptures by Ray Ayres. One sculpture depicts a brown and white mouse seated on a textured base with green leaves and red strawberries, holding a strawberry. The second sculpture features a similar brown and tan mouse perched on a tree branch, surrounded by green leaves and dark purple blackberries. Both pieces are crafted from hand-painted cast resin or a similar composite material, exhibiting a naturalistic style. Each base is visibly marked ‘AYRES’, with the blackberry figurine additionally bearing ‘MEG’ below this name.
