A carved Military box, featuring an emblem for the Madras & Mahratta Rifles. . This rectangular, dark-stained wooden box exhibits extensive hand-carved decoration, including repeating floral or foliate motifs and geometric borders on all visible sides and around the hinged lid. The lid prominently displays a central eight-pointed starburst enclosing a circular emblem. Settlement emblem and potentially relating to the Madras & Mahratta RY Rifles.
