A John Louw 3D high relief copper wall art piece, featuring a standing elephant within a stylized naturalistic scene. The oval base appears to be polished copper or brass, exhibiting some surface wear, scuffs, and minor tarnishing consistent with handling and age. The central elephant figure is rendered with a textured, wood-grain-like finish, likely cast in metal (such as bronze or a bronzed composite) or resin with a metallic patination, and depicts the elephant standing on a log or raised ground with surrounding foliage and small birds painted in black directly onto the metallic background. The elephant’s tusks are a lighter, off-white material, possibly resin or bone imitation, showing some discoloration. No visible text or markings are apparent.
