A Wade ceramic squirrel trinket dish, featuring a small, alert squirrel figurine perched on its raised edge, within a brown-glazed, scalloped, shell-like or leaf-like interior. This item is accompanied by a second ceramic decorative dish, sculpted with the head and upper chest of a dog, resembling a Borzoi or Greyhound. The dog dish is rendered in a lustrous, iridescent white glaze exhibiting subtle hues of pink, blue, and green, with brown detailing on the ears and back of the neck, forming a shallow, rounded dish at its base. Both items exhibit a mid-20th century decorative or novelty aesthetic. No manufacturer’s marks or text are discernible.
