Another Great Auction 20th November
A British Army Royal Logistic Corps Sergeant’s No.2 Dress Uniform, comprising a brown wool-blend jacket/tunic and matching trousers. The uniform is likely dating from the late 20th century. The jacket features four patch pockets, gilded metal buttons, a blue, red, and yellow striped lanyard, and a single medal ribbon. A yellow tag on the lapel displays “197.” Rank insignia includes sergeant’s chevrons on one sleeve and a crossed flags emblem, indicative of a signaler, on the other. A wide, striped belt with a prominent gilded buckle is present, clearly embossed with “THE ROYAL LOGISTIC CORPS” around a central crest which also shows “RLC.” A light green/grey waist sash is visible with the trousers.
