Another Great Auction 20th November
A sterling silver decanter label, crafted in a Rococo-revival style. The ornate design features elaborate scrolling acanthus leaves and prominent scallop shell motifs. The central cartouche is embossed with the word “WHISKY.” The reverse bears the maker’s mark “R&K” on the left, alongside three clear hallmarks on the right: a lion passant, an anchor indicating the Birmingham assay office, and a lowercase ‘n’ date letter, corresponding to the assay year 1912/1913. The label is suspended from a delicate chain.
