Another Great Auction 20th November
A French glazed ceramic figurine by Gneuquelman PARIS, depicting a seated male figure with a beard and a pipe, wearing a green hat, a red and black plaid shirt, and patched trousers, rendered in a whimsical, folk art style. The figure is positioned on a white bench under a textured green tree, with a bottle and fruit on the bench beside him. Three small birds are depicted on the irregular oval base. The underside of the base is impressed with ‘MADE IN FRANCE’ and further marked ‘Gneuquelman PARIS’.
