An antique rectangular decorative casket, styled in the Gothic Revival manner. It features ornate cast metalwork with intricate architectural details including tracery, pointed arches, and stylized foliage. The item exhibits a two-tone finish, with a darker, bronzed or antique silver-tone base accented by a contrasting gilded or gold-tone on raised elements and edges. A prominent hasp and staple lock is visible on the front. A small, separate key with a cutout of a stylized lion and the letters “SFS” on its bow is present.
