A Victorian walnut aneroid wheel barometer and thermometer, designed as a wall-mounted weather station. The piece features an elaborate carved dark wood frame in a Victorian style, adorned with foliage motifs and turned columns. The upper section houses a mercury thermometer, marked with both Celsius and Fahrenheit scales, displaying readings from -10 to 50 Celsius and 0 to 120 Fahrenheit. Below, a circular aneroid barometer is set within a brass bezel. Its dial indicates weather conditions such as “Stormy,” “Rain,” “Change,” “Fair,” and “Dry,” alongside numerical atmospheric pressure readings ranging from approximately 26 to 31.
