A vintage Southeast Asian ceramic jar of spherical form, crafted from earthenware. The vessel features a dark slip or glaze, significantly abraded to reveal the reddish-brown body beneath. It is richly decorated with applied elements, including a prominent elephant head and trunk on one side, surmounted by a seated anthropomorphic figure holding an object. Further applied stylized figures or creatures are integrated into the design, alongside incised zigzag patterns on the main body. The jar is supported by four conical feet. No discernible text or maker’s marks are visible.
