Another Great Auction 20th November
This lot comprises five glazed ceramic and porcelain souvenir and novelty items, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The collection includes a vintage ceramic or porcelain cow creamer, brown and white, wearing a yellow blanket inscribed “JERSEY”. Also present is a tall cream-colored figurine depicting two robed figures on a square base, marked with a crest and the English place names “BARNARD CASTLE” and “Model of [unclear word]”. A small white pig figurine is marked with the English place name “Isle of Wight”. A cream-colored novelty mug features a cartoon illustration of a man and a ghost, with visible English text reading “TIME PLEASE” and “SOME SERIOUS THOUGHTS JUST COME INTO MY MIND WHEN…”. The final item is a small, decorative purple and cream-colored ewer or jug with a handle, spout, gilded accents, and floral motifs.
