Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of brass electric table lamps. The lot comprises one classical-style table lamp base featuring a reeded capital atop a tapering fluted column and a stepped circular foot. The second lamp is an electric conversion of an oil lamp, consistent with designs by Aladdin, featuring a broad circular base, a bulbous font, and a perforated brass burner element. Both lamps are fitted for electricity. The classical lamp has a coiled white electrical cord terminating in a modern white UK 3-pin plug marked “13A FUSED”. The converted oil lamp has a twisted, brass-colored electrical cord also ending in a modern white UK 3-pin plug and is currently fitted with a modern white LED candle bulb.
