A Victorian gold plated bar-style tie or cravat pin, accompanied by Gold bracelet. The pin features a slender, straight bar with a single oval cabochon-cut opal set centrally, exhibiting play-of-color. The item is crafted from gold plated metal, with a ‘9ct’ mark and other indistinct hallmarks visible on the reverse of the bar pin. The safety chain is constructed from figaro-style links, consistent with an Albert chain, and terminates in a decorative T-bar.
