Another Great Auction 20th November
A Centre Seconds Patent Decimal Chronograph Pocket Watch, marked ‘FIRST CENTRE SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH’ and ‘LIGA’ on the dial. This open-face chronograph pocket watch features a silver-toned metal case with a fluted crown and a fixed bail. The white dial displays black Roman numerals, gold-toned hour, minute, and central sweep seconds hands. The dial is also marked “SWISS MADE” and includes a 0-60 seconds track and an inner numerical scale (0-300). The brass-gilt mechanical movement is visible when the inner hinged cover is open and is also marked “SWISS MADE”. The inside of the outer hinged case back bears a stamped mark of ‘LW M’ within a shield.
