Another Great Auction 20th November
A bottle of Salcombe Start Point London Dry Gin, identified as “Exceptional London Dry.” The clear glass bottle is sealed with a cork stopper, partially covered by a label depicting a sailing vessel. Paper labels on the bottle state “SALCOMBE GIN,” “PRODUCT OF ENGLAND,” and “DISTILLED AND CRAFTED IN SOUTH DEVON.” It is the “START POINT” variant, designated as “SMALL BATCH No. 474,” with an alcohol content of “44% ALC/VOL.” The base of the bottle is embossed with “BORN OF THE SEA.” The gin is presented within its original matching cardboard box, which mirrors the primary branding and includes additional descriptive text about the gin’s inspiration and botanicals, including Macedonian juniper and red grapefruit.
