Another Great Auction 20th November
A bottle of Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’ London Dry Gin. Presented in its accompanying white and gold-tone cardboard presentation box. The clear glass bottle is sealed with a cork stopper topped with wood, featuring a small label depicting a boat and the text “SALCOMBE.” Prominent labels on both the bottle and box identify the product as “EXCEPTIONAL LONDON DRY,” “DISTILLED AND CRAFTED IN SOUTH DEVON,” and a “PRODUCT of ENGLAND.” Further text details it as “SALCOMBE FRUITIERS ‘START POINT'” gin, a “SMALL BATCH No # 424” with “44% ALC/VOL.” Its botanical profile includes Macedonian juniper, English coriander, and fresh red grapefruit. Distilled on a bespoke 450 litre copper pot still named “PROVIDENT” using “DARTMOOR WATER.”
