Another Great Auction 20th November
A bottle of James Eadie’s Trade Mark X Blended Scotch Whisky, presented in its accompanying black cardboard box. The modern clear glass bottle features a gold-colored metallic screw-cap and label, containing 70cl (700ml) of amber-colored liquid. Both the bottle and box display prominent gold text including “JAMES EADIE’S ESTABLISHED 1854,” “80° PROOF,” “TRADE X MARK,” and “BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY,” with “45.6% vol.” A small label on the bottle notes “Multi Vintage” and dates “1854 – 1877 – 2017,” along with a signature. The box also includes a quote from Alfred Barnard dated 1888, referencing “Mr Eadie’s own blend of Scotch whisky.”
