Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of identical vintage children’s watches, identified as Gerry Anderson’s Stingray Troy Tempest Communicator Watches by Wesco, circa 1992. Each watch is presented in its original, unopened cardboard blister packaging. The watches feature a light blue plastic housing designed as a “communicator” with a small digital display and a hinged cover depicting a character within a speech bubble reading “COME IN TROY!”. They are fitted with black plastic straps. The packaging is illustrated with images of Captain Troy Tempest, the Stingray submarine, and other characters, bearing the prominent text “Stingray,” “TROY TEMPEST ‘COMMUNICATOR’ WATCH,” “JUST LIKE THE REAL THING !!”, and “WESCO” at the bottom. The items appear to be New Old Stock (NOS).
