Another Great Auction 20th November
This lot comprises three distinct items. The primary item is a vintage framed East Asian style silk embroidery, depicting two red-crowned cranes beneath a pine tree with pink flowers, with Chinese characters 寿鹤延松 (Shòu Hè Yán Sōng) translating to ‘Longevity, Crane, Pine’ in the upper left. It is housed in a gold-colored frame. Also included is a smaller, square, light wood display case with a glass front and six compartments, containing a collection of miniature ceramic tableware items, several marked ‘PORTMEIRION BOTANIC GARDEN,’ comprising plates, a lidded pot, a jug, and a teacup with saucer. The third item is a large, empty, rectangular light wood picture frame with glass.
