Another Great Auction 20th November
A group of three vintage West German ceramic beer steins. Each stein is fitted with an ornate hinged pewter lid and features traditional German folk art-style relief decoration, hand-painted with scenes depicting figures in period attire. The largest stein portrays a dancing couple, while the two smaller examples depict individuals seated at tables. The base of one stein is clearly marked with the impressed text “MADE IN WEST GERMANY,” alongside additional impressed numerals ‘9’ and ’15,’ indicating a production period between 1949 and 1990.
