Another Great Auction 20th November
This lot comprises five framed decorative artworks. Four pieces are framed prints or watercolors depicting landscapes and village scenes; one rural landscape, possibly a watercolor, featuring a path with bare trees, is signed “M. Hall” and matted in green within a gold-toned metal frame; another depicts a thatched cottage in a light brown wooden frame; and two further landscapes are presented in ornate gold frames. The fifth and most distinct item is a framed cross-stitch textile sampler, executed in various colored threads on fabric and presented under glass in a dark brown wooden frame. This sampler meticulously displays full uppercase and lowercase alphabets, the numerical sequence “1234567890”, and the personal inscription “Sarah Anderson, Aged 11 years, 1920”, bordered by decorative floral baskets.
