Another Great Auction 20th November
An oil painting by F. Di Sciascio, depicting a character portrait of a bearded man wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a red scarf, smoking a pipe. The artwork is executed in an illustrative style, likely dating to the mid-20th century, and is signed “F. Di Sciascio” in the lower left corner. It is housed in a multi-toned wooden frame with a gold-colored inner fillet and a darker wood outer section. A view of the reverse reveals that the framed painting serves as the lid of a wooden box, with the artwork affixed to the inside.
