Another Great Auction 20th November
A bottle of White Hare Spiced Rum. This modern, rectangular-bodied glass bottle contains a clear amber liquid. The rustic-style paper label details the contents as “DISTILLED IN WALES WITH NATURAL INGREDIENTS WITH ORANGE, VANILLA & MIXED SPICE,” with a volume of “70CL e” and “43% ABV” or “43%VOL.” The label is “Inspired by a 100 year old recipe for Grandma Mary’s Welsh Cakes” and includes a narrative about “Nan Mary’s” recipe. An affixed silver sticker indicates a “WORLD RUM AWARDS SILVER” win. The reverse label reiterates product details and includes a barcode, producer information (“Produced by White Hare Distillery Gwent House, Raglan NP15 2HD Monmouthshire NP15 2BG”), and the phrase “ENJOY RESPONSIBLY.” The bottle is sealed with a red, presumably wax or polymer, cap over a cork, and a “FOR THE UK” duty stamp is visible on the bottom.
