Another Great Auction 20th November
A Galileo Standing Liquid Thermometer, featuring a clear glass cylindrical instrument with a pointed finial top and a flared base, filled with a transparent liquid. Inside, multiple clear glass bulbs are suspended, each weighted with a small, gold-toned metal disc attached by a silver-toned ring. Visible markings on these discs include “25°”, “24°”, and “20°” or “21°”, indicating temperature values in degrees Celsius.
