The lot comprises a diverse collection of vintage and used objects. Central to the collection is a large album cover for Simple Minds’ ‘Street Fighting Years’. Also present is a wooden crate stenciled “JOHN BATESON & CO LTD, KENT STREET, PRESTON.” The collection includes three framed items under glass with wooden surrounds: one vintage advertising print for “JOHNNIE WALKER” (“FORE MOST SINCE 1820”), another for “DUNLOP GOLF BALLS” depicting golfers, and a nautical display featuring a model sailing ship and multiple rope knots (including “Anchor Bend,” “Fisherman’s Knot,” “Carrack Bend,” “Figure-of-Eight Knot”) on a map background. A collection of approximately ten vintage automotive workshop manuals, primarily Haynes publications for British and Japanese vehicles from the mid-to-late 20th century (e.g., “Ford Cortina,” “Austin Allegro,” “Datsun Cherry,” “VW Beetle,” “Austin Maxi,” “Rover”), are also included. Further items consist of an open technical manual and a smaller framed advertisement for “Colman’s Mustard” and “Yesterday’s Money.”
