Another Great Auction 20th November
A vintage Yves Saint Laurent dark gray pinstripe single-breasted blazer, featuring a grey and white striped pattern and a reddish-brown satin-like lining. This is offered alongside a dark navy blue single-breasted blazer, adorned with multiple lapel pins and an embroidered patch on the breast pocket displaying a crest with a crown and shield, alongside the English text “HMCS QUEEN CHARLOTTE” and “NUNS IS YOUR FORTUNE”. A white polka-dot collared shirt is partially visible beneath the navy blazer. The collection also includes a dark naval uniform jumper featuring a distinctive square collar flap. The naval jumper contains an internal woven label flanked by anchors, stating “MANUFACTURED BY NAVAL CLOTHING FACTORY,” with handwritten English details “Name…W.F. DAWSON” and a partially legible “Rate…”. All garments appear to be constructed from wool or a wool blend.
