Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of vintage ‘3-D Electrical Sign Kit’ sets, manufactured by Display Electrics Ltd., 4 & 6 Earl Street, London, E.C.2., with ‘Patent Pending’ noted on the labels. These mid-20th century kits are designed for creating three-dimensional electrical signs. Each rectangular red cardboard box contains numerous individual, molded plastic, sans-serif characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols, organized within cardboard compartment dividers. One kit features red characters, while the other contains blue characters. One box label includes a handwritten ‘BLUE P.’ annotation.
