An Empire Style Gilt Brass Lamp, dating to the Early 20th Century. This vintage-style table lamp features a base and upper elements of brass-toned metal, with a black, faceted central column, possibly ebonized wood or Bakelite. The base is fluted and stepped, supporting a stem adorned with decorative brass rings. The lamp is topped with an off-white, scalloped fabric lampshade with braided trim, secured by a small wooden finial. The visible bulb socket is marked “MAX 100W”.
