Another Great Auction 20th November
A group of four vintage advertising barware items, featuring a Websters Green Label Best ashtray. The group includes a dark green glass round ashtray with a central label marked ‘WEBSTER’S GREEN LABEL BEST 1838’. Also present is a clear glass round ashtray with a multi-colored ring design proclaiming ‘CARLING Black Label LAGER’ and ‘CARLING’. A dark green rectangular enameled metal or ceramic dish with high sides, bearing ‘MARSTON’S’ in cream lettering, is included. The final item is a clear glass round ashtray with a central crest and laurel wreath emblem. All items are consistent with their likely function as promotional pub or brewery memorabilia.
