Another Great Auction 20th November
A collection of eight decorative plates crafted from Wedgwood fine bone china, produced for The Danbury Mint as part of “The Beatrix Potter Collection” and “The World of Beatrix Potter.” Each plate features colorful illustrations of anthropomorphic animal characters from Beatrix Potter’s tales, depicting specific scenes with titles including “Peter in Mr. McGregor’s Garden,” “The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher,” “The Tale of Two Bad Mice,” “The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin,” “The Tale of Jemima Puddle-duck,” and “The Tale of Pigling Bland.” The reverse of each plate is marked “Wedgwood® Fine Bone China, Made in England,” along with a disclaimer indicating they are for decorative purposes only. Most plates are presented within their original white styrofoam packaging, and accompanying certificates of authenticity are present.
