Another Great Auction 20th November
A collection of three telephones. The central piece is a vintage rotary desk telephone featuring a cuboid base clad in polished multi-toned marble or onyx, presenting swirled brown, cream, and orange hues. It is accented with gilt-metal or brass fittings, including decorative feet, a base frame, and an upright handset cradle. The separate handset has a matching marble/onyx grip section and silver-toned metal receiver and transmitter cups, connected to the base by a coiled, textile-covered cord. A rotary dial with numeric indications (0-9) is integrated into the front panel, and two dome-shaped metal bells are visible on the reverse. Also included are a mustard yellow/beige plastic rotary dial desk telephone with a coiled handset cord, and a red and black plastic push-button telephone, also with a coiled cord. All items display standard numeric dials or keypads (0-9, *, #). No specific manufacturer markings are clearly discernible on any of the pieces.
