Another Great Auction 20th November
This lot comprises three open, vintage-style metal toolboxes. The most prominent is an orange painted steel toolbox, clearly marked “Bedford SJ*” on its lid and “MADE IN ENGLAND” on the contained ratchet. It holds a socket wrench set with various sockets and accessories, including references to “WHIT” (Whitworth) sizing on an internal label. Adjacent is a larger, rectangular blue painted steel toolbox, debossed with “DOLE” on its lid, filled with a miscellaneous collection of used hand tools, small parts, and workshop accessories, notably including a packaged “Masonry Drill Bit B” set. A third, even smaller, rectangular metal tin with red and yellow stripes contains a few compact hand tools housed within a blue pouch.
