Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of Art Deco oak cased mantel clocks, consistent with examples from the early to mid-20th century often featuring eight-day movements and Westminster chimes. Both clocks feature dark-stained wooden cases with visible grain, geometric detailing including stepped bases and fluted accents. The clock on the left has a rectangular case with a silver-tone metal bezel surrounding a wood-paneled face with a contrasting light border, marked with Roman numerals and featuring three winding/setting holes. The clock on the right has a domed-top case with a similar silver-tone metal bezel enclosing a circular, silver-colored face with Arabic numerals 1-12, and small, partially obscured text reading “MADE IN [obscured country]” at the bottom.
The largest clock measures 9” x 10”.
