Another Great Auction 20th November
A Hornby OO Gauge Flying Scotsman Train Set. The set comprises a green LNER Class A1/A3 steam locomotive, numbered 4472, and three ‘teak’ passenger coaches. Also included are various curved and straight track sections made of plastic and metal, a power controller with associated wiring and accessories, and several accompanying paper documents or leaflets (one marked “XG272” and another “OWI”) within clear plastic bags. The set is presented in its original branded retail packaging with a custom-fitted polystyrene insert. The box text states the set depicts the Flying Scotsman as it ran non-stop from London to Edinburgh in the 1920s.
