Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of vintage paperback handbooks titled ‘Plans Handbook’, published by Model & Allied Publications (MAP). The first volume, ‘Plans Handbook 1: Aeromodelling & Radio Control’, features a stylized airplane graphic incorporating the numeral ‘1’ on its cover. The second volume, ‘Plans Handbook 2: Aeromodeller & Model Maker’, illustrates an airplane, boat, and car, and its reverse advertises ‘KEK KRAFT SANDED BALSA’ for model building. Both volumes are priced at ‘2s’ (two shillings) each and are constructed from paper/card stock, likely mid-20th century publications.
