This lot comprises a group of four vintage decorative wall art plaques. Two rectangular panels are executed in marquetry or intarsia, depicting detailed scenic compositions: one an active street scene with figures and period buildings, and the other a village landscape with traditional houses. Both utilize various wood veneers for contrasting tones within simple wooden frames. A small, illegible white label is affixed to the upper left corner of one framed marquetry panel. Accompanying these are two circular carved wood decorative plates, each featuring a deep relief carving of a rural landscape with architectural elements such as a chalet-style house, a bridge, and mountains, all presented in a dark wood finish.
