Another Great Auction 20th November
This lot comprises a diverse collection of serving and dining wares. It features a ceramic cottage-shaped jug or creamer, painted in earthy tones, bearing the markings “BESWICK – ENGLAND,” “Beswick Ware,” and “MADE IN ENGLAND” on its base, alongside a handwritten number “245.” Also included is a cased set of six small knives with amber-toned handles and silver-toned blades, housed in a velvet-lined presentation box. A large, ornate round clear pressed glass serving dish with a central fluted metal lid and a small serving fork rests in a gold-toned metal stand with decorative scroll handles. Accompanying these are a smaller rectangular, silver-toned metal tray with twisted handles displaying intricate embossed floral patterns, and a simpler round, silver-toned scalloped-edge metal plate. Three slender white picks, likely plastic, complete the collection.
