Another Great Auction 20th November
A vintage Kayex Auto-Bulbs shop display box, accompanied by a collection of additional boxed stock. The main display box, featuring an orange and blue design with a stylized light bulb illustration, is opened to reveal numerous smaller individual orange cardboard boxes. Many of these smaller boxes are marked ‘No. 323 12V. 48W PREFOCUS’. The packaging states ‘GUARANTEED AGAINST DEFECTS’ and ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’. Several other smaller, closed ‘KAYEX AUTO-BULBS’ boxes are also present, some stacked and others loose. The style suggests a mid-20th-century period. One box bears a yellow sticker with the number ‘6175’.
