Another Great Auction 20th November
A lot comprising three framed prints. The first is a framed color print, a reproduction of a late 19th or early 20th-century magazine cover from the “ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS”, depicting two children on a swing in a snowy scene. It is housed in a substantial dark wooden frame with an inner gold trim. The second item is a framed monochrome pen-and-ink style print, depicting a gipsy caravan with a figure and horse in a landscape, titled “The Gipsy Caravan at Wookey Hole” below the image and signed “Charles P. Wright” on the artwork. It is presented in a thin dark frame with a light mat. The third print is a framed monochrome print featuring a lively, somewhat caricatured sporting scene titled “THE SUNDAY LEAGUE” at the bottom center, with a faint copyright notice, possibly dated 1989, in the lower right. This print is also in a thin dark frame. All items are under glass.
