A 184-piece Paragon ‘Athena’ dinner and tea/coffee service. Crafted from fine bone china, the set features a traditional, elegant style with a wide gold band adorned with intricate scroll and dot patterns, often paired with subtle fluted details on the white body. The backstamp reads ‘BY APPOINTMENT TO H.M. THE QUEEN CHINA POTTERS,’ ‘PARAGON CHINA LTD., STOKE-ON-TRENT, FINE BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND, REC’D L/L,’ and ‘Athena.’ The collection includes various plates (dinner, salad, bread, oval serving), bowls (soup, fruit), saucers, teacups, teapots, coffee pots, creamers, sugar bowls, gravy boats, and a lidded tureen.
