Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of bronze-toned figural sculptures from The Leonardo Collection. The first depicts a partially draped female figure with a braided hairstyle and headpiece, seated astride a horse with an elaborate saddle blanket, all mounted on a textured, irregular base. The second portrays a jockey in full riding attire astride a horse, positioned on a rectangular base. Both exhibit a generally realistic, decorative art style. The sculptures are likely cast in resin or spelter with a bronze-toned finish. The underside of one base features a red felt covering stamped in gold with a crown motif and the text ‘The Leonardo Collection’.
