A Chinese Carved Bamboo Brush Pot (Bitong), Qing Dynasty. The cylindrical container is crafted from dark, reddish-brown bamboo, extensively carved in high relief with a continuous decorative scheme. The carving depicts figures in traditional attire within a landscape setting, alongside stylized birds, including a phoenix, and various floral and foliate motifs. The interior bears a yellow sticker with the number ‘4325’.
