Another Great Auction 11th December
A group of three UCTCI Japan Trixie Poppet figurines, likely dating to the mid-20th century. These stylized ceramic figurines depict children with closed eyes and painted eyelashes. The unglazed or matte-finished ceramic material is predominantly a natural tan or beige color, accented with soft light blue on the figures’ hats and garments. The collection includes a seated girl holding a small pot, a standing child leaning against a barrel topped with a small rabbit and holding a pail, and another seated child with an oversized hat holding a basket. No manufacturer’s marks or textual inscriptions are visible on any of the pieces.
