Another Great Auction 11th December
A single late 19th/early 20th century educational zoological wall chart, titled ‘Dybdahls Zoologiske plancher’ and published by H. Aschehoug & Co., with a smaller mark for Thon & Co.s Odén. This chart, designated Pl. 37, depicts an ostrich with detailed scientific illustrations, including a full body view (I) and various anatomical sections such as its leg (II), head with open beak (III), another head view (IV), and foot (V). The item is composed of canvas mounted between two wooden dowels at the top and bottom, with a string attached for hanging, typical of didactic materials from the period.
